Market is every Saturday, June 5 through October 30 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM in picturesque Adams Park at the corner of Cummins Highway and Washington St in Roslindale Village. Sponsored and produced by Roslindale Village Main Street, this yearâ??s Roslindale Farmersâ?? Market has the biggest slate of farmers, artisans and vendors in the history of the market. Featuring seven local farms and a wide array of other specialty food and craft stalls, the market also offers weekly live music and kidsâ?? activities, providing a dynamic community gathering place in the heart of Roslindale Village every Saturday. Childrenâ??s activities are scheduled every Saturday at 10 AM, and Davey the Clown will kick off opening day with his wacky antics, unicycle tricks and juggling. Live music is also scheduled every Saturday at 11 AM and Zili Misik, an all women, world music band will be the lead performers to open the farmersâ?? market on June 5. The band will be collecting musical instruments to send to those in Haiti who have lost everything in the recent earthquake. Each week, an additional rotating cast of local artisans will also offer a vast selection of handmade specialty items including small-batch soaps and body products, handmade aprons and kitchen accessories, Indie printed t-shirts and clothing, handcrafted photo albums and books, childrenâ??s clothing, handmade key chains, dog clothing, felt toys and aprons, photographs and note cards, handmade functional pottery and portable urban container gardens. She's Crafty! Boston - Crop Night
A fun evening of paper crafting! If you've ever had the itch to try scrapbooking or cardmaking come see how fun and easy it can be! Do you have a backlog of photos that are waiting to be enjoyed? Bring your camera or laptop and get advice on how to start getting them printed! Tons of tools will be available for use including a Cricut Expression for making shapes and letters. Supplies from paper to adhesives will be available for purchase, including a beginner page kit to help you get started. Encouragement, guidance, and refreshments are provided. Rogue crafters are welcome- feel free to knit or stitch alongside paper projects!
